Tatiana Didier

Tatiana Didier is a Senior Economist at the World Bank Group in Vienna, advising governments and financial sector authorities on policies to deepen financial systems and strengthen private-sector performance. Her work focuses on the interplay of finance, firm dynamics, and public policy in shaping more productive, competitive, and resilient economies. She has led multi-country policy engagements across Latin America and the Caribbean, East Asia and the Pacific, and, more recently, Europe and Central Asia. Tatiana is the lead author of influential World Bank publications, including Boosting SME Finance for Growth and Unleashing Productivity through Firm Financing, which have informed global policy debates and initiatives such as the G20 MSME Finance Action Plan. She holds a PhD in Economics from MIT.
