Laurie McAughtry is Head of Capital Markets at Euromoney, responsible for designing, developing and executing the firm’s capital markets content, coverage and strategy. She joined from global publishing firm Markets Media, where she oversaw the transformation and consolidation of the firm’s multiple equities titles into a single market-leading platform. With over two decades of experience in financial analysis, research and publishing, Laurie has a strong background across all asset classes, with expertise in market structure, trading and execution, public and private markets, regulation and financial services technology. She is also an acknowledged expert in Shariah compliant and sustainable finance. She holds a BA (hons) from Balliol College, Oxford and an MA from Oxford Brookes, as well as a diploma in economics & finance from Columbia University, New York.
