Kemal holds an EMBA from IMDLausanne, Switzerland and a PG DiP in Organizational Leadership from Said Business School, University of Oxford. He has almost 20 years of experience in VC, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and project management/finance in Southeast Europe. He was a partner at Ascendant (IMAP SEE), the leading M&A advisory company in the Southeast Europe region between 2008 and 2020. Kemal started his career in 1999 as an analyst and later became an investment manager throughout the Southeast Europe region for a Vienna-based private equity (venture capital) management company, Horizonte Venture Management GmbH. Kemal is a chess master. He is married and has three children.
