Jaroslava Korpanec

Jaroslava joined Actis in 2022 to lead Actis’ Energy Infrastructure investment activity in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Since joining, she has led investments into Rezolv Energy, a renewable energy platform operating in Romania and Bulgaria aiming to deliver 2GW of clean power and become the first IPP in the region; Connectis Tower, the first independent telecom tower company operating in the Balkans; and is currently building out a new renewables platform in Poland.

Jaroslava brings an extraordinary depth of knowledge of the infrastructure space, as well as deep insight into the CEE region, with over 18 years of experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors. She is a confident and personable speaker who is experienced in discussing her areas of expertise in various public forums, recent highlights include Energynomics event ‘International Approach London: Catalyzing Romania’s energy future’, Actis’ Seoul seminar on the energy transition in global growth markets, and a podcast interview with Inspiritia.

As one of the founding partners of Allianz Capital Partners Jaroslava was instrumental to the build-out of the direct infrastructure business at Allianz Capital Partners, a business which she helped grow to €11 billion AUM.

In this past role she led landmark transactions across the transport, energy and utility sectors, predominantly in Central Europe, the UK and Iberia. These investments include investments in Chicago Parking Meters, Net4Gas and Gasnet (respectively the gas transmission and distribution networks in the Czech Republic), the London super sewer Thames Tideway, the UK gas distribution business Cadent Gas, UK’s Affinity Water, investments in transport such as rolling stock (Porterbrook) and digital sector (partnerships with Telefonica in Germany and Altice in France), and investments in social infrastructure concessions.

Jaroslava has a degree in law from the University of Cambridge.
